Good Brews

Good News

Outreach

Taking the good news to the broken streets,, showing people Jesus, inviting folk back for free, delicious food & prayer.

Go out with the gospel, welcome in with love and delicious coffee.

Each Thursday from 12 noon - 3:30pm.

What is the Good Brews Good News Outreach?

Put simply, it is taking the scandalously good news of Jesus to the streets, with the invitation to free delicious coffee, hot drinks and food on top, back at the cafe. It’s for all believers to get involved: musicians, preachers, intercessors, listeners, servers!

The good news of Jesus and His saving, redeeming power is not to be kept within the four walls of the church building, but proclaimed from the rooftops! Well, that’s how our Lord Jesus put it.

Come and join us on a Thursday as we go out to welcome in. A team will venture out into the broken streets of Yeovil to proclaim the gospel, do Jesus at the Door, share our testimonies and pray for the needy. Others will stay back at base to pray. Then we can also welcome folk back (some will literally just beckon people in off the streets from the cafe entrance) for free, delicious coffee, food, a listening ear and more prayer - all sponsored by our generous partners and fuelled by the grace of God.

How You Can Support Us

Bread is more than just a coffee shop. We carry a Christ-centred mission and realise that other Jesus-followers want to support that by giving financially to Bread. You can do this in a few ways.

Give a free coffee to someone who cannot afford it.

We have a crowd-funding page here in which you can give a monthly coffee, a weekly coffee or a daily coffee to someone who can’t otherwise afford one. This also gives us a unique opportunity to chat to people, tell them the good news of Jesus and invite them into our community.

Our charity work is done under the name “Now Believe” and our charity number is 1132384. You can give a one off donation to the charity by bank transfer: NOWBELIEVE
Sort code: 30-95-29
Account Number: 02834868
or by paypal

You can also give to our work through Stewardship. This is a fundraising page. You can access our Stewardship here

“Here's another way to put it: You're here to be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world. God is not a secret to be kept. We're going public with this, as public as a city on a hill..”

— Matthew 5:14-16 MSG
