Man does not live on delicious croissants alone.

We love people. That’s why we want to give people:

  • Delicious, freshly-baked bread and other treats.

  • Service with a cheesy smile and listening ear.

  • Kind words and beautiful crockery.

  • A comfy place to sit with loved ones, new friends or solo.

  • Space and time to unwind in a light location.

But as a bunch of men and women that have faith in Jesus, we know that the best thing we can give people is an opportunity to chat about life.

Jesus said: “It takes more than bread to stay alive. It takes a steady stream of words from God’s mouth.”

Whether you are a Jesus-follower or not, we warmly invite you to come for a natter about the stuff that matters.

What makes Bread different from other coffee shops?

Our founders, Dom and Thea Muir both have faith in Jesus Christ. They are passionate about reminding people how wonderful they truly are.

They believe people are loved and treasured by God, which is why they honour every soul that steps over Bread’s threshold.

It is important to Dom and Thea that Bread is not just a vibrant, positive space for people to visit, but one in which people are encouraged to be themselves and to talk to other human beings about the stuff that matters.

That’s why Bread has regular events hosting parents and toddler meet-ups, men’s groups, bible studies and a regular space for people without faith to ask big questions about life.
