KING’S ARMY
@ BREAD, YEOVIL
SOULS TO SOLDIERS.
Join with me in suffering, like a good soldier of Christ Jesus. No one serving as a soldier gets entangled in civilian affairs, but rather tries to please his commanding officer. 2 Tim 2:3-4
What is King’s Army?
The Lord Jesus is raising up an end time army to push back darkness.
King’s Army is a cross-denominational evangelistic and disciple-making army fit for the times we live in. Rather than souls to sitters, souls (or saints) to soldiers. King’s Army is headquartered out of Orlando, Florida (US), run by our friend and brother, Field Marshall Scott McNamara.
Bread, Yeovil, hosts monthly King’s Army meetings and weekly outreaches.
For too long the western church has lived like civilians, entangled by the things of the world and this temporary life. A “civilian church” is not equipped to cope with the level of darkness covering the earth in these days. Great spiritual ground has been lost and squandered owing to this spiritual malaise. Therefore, the Lord Jesus is calling forth an army comprised from all parts of His church, to fight like soldiers, to win souls and make every disciple a soldier.
Evangelism: With thorough training in the life-saving weapon of the gospel, we pursue every last lost soul to be saved and made a solider for Christ.
Discipleship: Prayer, healing, deliverance, first-love adoration, equipping, outreach, discipleship - daily.
Character: “HIP TEST”: Holiness, integrity and purity.
You were conscripted by our Commanding Officer, King Jesus, the moment you were born again. You were called into a war worthy of giving your life for!
Welcome to the King’s Army.
Non sibi sed Regnum Dei,
Colonel Dominic Muir

Imagine a gym membership. You go to the gym, you wear particular fitness clothes, you use their facilities - you come out fitter and stronger at that which you have trained in. Then you get on with your life reaping the fruit of those benefits and breakthroughs.
That is what King’s Army is like. King’s Army is a cross-denominational evangelistic and disciple-making army fit for the times we live in. You come to taste and see what we’re about, if you like it and sense God’s call, you enlist. You take part and use what we provide as much as you want. Like the gym membership, you use our facilities, training, receive from our wealth of experience and encouragement, then you take your uniform off and get on with your life, taking back what you have received to the local church, to your communities, all the stronger and fitter for your service in the Kingdom and for winning and discipling lost souls.
-
You don’t need a uniform to evangelise or represent Jesus and His Kingdom, but yet every other emergency service has a uniform: the police, the ambulance service, the fire brigade. How much more the ultimate emergency services plundering hell to populate heaven? These secular uniforms are worn with pride, reverence and good reason - to stand out, to make operatives easily identifiable. Likewise King’s Army evangelists and disciple makers leave a trace of grace and a memorable marker for where people can come when they need help, healing, deliverance and salvation. For too long the church has got away with hiding and blending in and behaving like a chameleon to the culture. King’s Army is for those who want to wear the ministry of the gospel with boldness and confidence and show a hurting world that we are not ashamed of the gospel.

Ranks and titles are not strange but common throughout all life. In the church we have rank: bishop, arch deacon, deacon, elder. In every other service there is rank and title to denote honour, respect, training level, authority.
In the kingdom of God it is no different in this regard: there is rank, spiritual authority, honour, levels of responsibility, the difference is that in the Kingdom we rule and lead with the heart of a servant and serve with the heart of a King.
We are ultimately brothers and sisters in Christ and Jesus is our King and leader. But for all eternity heaven will be marked with rank, governing rank and reward, so we do well to get used to it now!
-
Absolutely.
-
No, some of these drills and markings are reserved for those who have made a commitment. King’s Army is still ultimately a part of the body of Christ, here to serve the church, in unity with His Bride, to fulfil the Great Commission.
-
Yes.

There will be a continual unpacking of the culture, vision and mandates of King’s Army, month on month. Come to taste and see. (2 Tim 2:3-4)
