-
Bread Interns will be paid in accordance with the National Living Wage and National Minimum Age guidance here, ent upon age.
We anticipate that each intern will typically work between 35 and 40 hours per week.
-
As a Missionary Barista, every Intern will be challenged to raise support to part-subsidise their placement with Bread. This fundraising goal will initially be set at £2,000 per Intern for every 90 day internship cycle.
Though we encourage Interns to take personal responsibility for meeting this target, we furthermore recognise it to be an essential component of the Internship itself - understanding “living by faith” to be an integral part of living a missional lifestyle. We therefore commit to providing extensive training and resources, as well as prayer and encouragement, to support each Intern on an individual basis, as needed.
-
Thank you for sowing generously into this critically important aspect of our work. Please give via our Now Believe giving page here, referencing the name of the Intern you desire to support, if known.
-
We are targeting 18 - 30 year olds in order to make a specific commitment towards this up and coming generation.

Great question! The Bread Internship is brand new (launching in September 2024) and as such does not yet have an alumni.
However, as soon as possible, we intend to publish their testimonies on this page, as well as setting-up a dedicated WhatsApp channel where prospective, current and alumni Interns can connect and share.
-
Yes of course, we’d be happy to connect and answer any further questions you might have.
