Where You Belong

A Community

Just another coffee shop?

Sure, we are passionate about good coffee and freshly baked bread.

But we exist to bring bright (and delicious) community spaces back to otherwise emptying high streets, starting with Yeovil.

That’s why Bread has regular events hosting parents and toddler meet-ups, men’s groups, bible studies and a regular space for people without faith to ask big questions about life.

Jesus on the High Street

Nourishing Yeovil in body, soul and spirit.

As you amble down (or up) Middle Street, Yeovil, you will come across Bread. We are a delicious cafe and community, at your service.

At the foundation, we are a community of people who have been beautifully touched by God. In this community built on the life and teaching of Jesus every woman, man, girl and boy - every age, every race - can find a home in God. A home where they belong. God has made us a family, and we want to be a community that operates as a family.

Jesus says “I am the Bread of Life.”

Welcome home.

Bread is personal - we are here for you!

  • If you want a warm, independent space to tap away on your laptop with a delicious coffee and toastie - Bread is for you.

  • If you want to let your kids sip milk, nibble toast, giggle and play away, while you sip coffee and catch up with another parent - Bread is for you.

  • If you have a business meeting and want to go somewhere where you can talk and relax, somewhere creative and inspiring - Bread is for you.

  • If you need a place to relax and unwind, a place that isn’t dingy, dark and overpriced but bright, friendly and welcoming - Bread is for you.

  • If you simply need somewhere to go today- Bread is for you.

This is about getting good coffee, yummy food, and a daily shot of smiley human interaction!

Help us paint the town yellow by visiting us at 48 Middle Street.

“Great coffee and such a good atmosphere. Friendly staff and I love the fun and positive decor everywhere. I always leave Bread feeling happy!”

A Place for Every Single Soul

Not only is the UK high street in crisis, we all know that the Cost of Living Crisis has made it difficult for ordinary people to enjoy coffee shops nowadays.

In response to this, Bread have set up a Ko-Fi page in which you can buy a coffee and cake for someone who otherwise couldn’t afford one. You can sign up to donate one free coffee and cake a month, one a week, or one a day.

Our Bread Family Values

Faith

We have a big God, a big vision and we embrace risk.

“Excellent coffee and great service from delightful staff all of whom are very friendly. They felt like family! Lovely light and peaceful atmosphere with beautiful murals. A great place to chill and meet friends and very child friendly; there was a special safe area for them to play in which is such a bonus for mums with toddlers.”
